Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RatNawnAI Tech Private Limited (“RatNawn Tech”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the RatNawnAI mobile app (package com.ratnawnai.RatNawnAI) and our website ratnawnai.com. By using RatNawnAI you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, phone number, email address, city and business details.
• Login credentials (passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and never stored in plain text).
• Product photos you upload, product descriptions and specifications.
• Content generated for you: images, videos and Excel files.
• Voice recordings, only when you choose to use a voice input feature.
• Messages you send to our support team.

Information collected through device permissions (only after you grant the permission)

• Camera and photos/videos: to capture or select product images you want to process.
• Location (approximate/precise): only to auto-fill your city during sign-up. We do not track your location in the background.
• Microphone: only while you use voice input.
• Notifications: to tell you when your generated content is ready.

Information collected automatically

• Device model, operating system, app version, IP address and notification token.
• App usage and analytics events, and crash reports.

Payment information: purchases are processed by Razorpay. We receive the transaction ID, amount and status. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and verify your phone number.
• To generate product images, videos and catalogue files from your uploads.
• To process payments, maintain your credit balance and apply coupons.
• To send service notifications and, with your consent, updates by SMS, email or WhatsApp.
• To provide customer support.
• To detect fraud, keep the service secure and comply with the law.
• To fix crashes and improve app performance and output quality.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud: authentication, database, file storage, notifications, analytics and crash reporting.
• Google Gemini AI: your uploaded product photos and prompts are sent to generate images and videos.
• Razorpay: payment processing.
• Cloud storage and hosting providers used to store and deliver generated content.

We may also disclose information to regulators, law enforcement or courts when the law requires it, or to a successor company in a merger or acquisition, which will remain bound by this Policy.

4. How we protect your data

• All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
• Data is stored with access controls on Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Only authorised staff can access personal data, and only when needed.

No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data retention and deletion

• We keep your account data and generated content while your account is active.
• When you delete your account, we delete your profile, uploads, generated content, credits and notification tokens.
• Payment and invoice records are kept for up to 8 years to meet Indian tax and accounting law.
• Backups and logs may hold your data for up to 90 days before being overwritten.

To delete your account: in the app, go to Profile → Delete account. To request deletion without the app, follow the steps on our Account & Data Deletion page.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, restrict how we process it, or withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email info@ratnawnai.com. You can also revoke app permissions at any time in your device settings.

7. Children

RatNawnAI is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.

9. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Disputes are subject to the courts of Bengaluru, India.
